Mr. Mossberg Totally Made Up the Whole 60 Days Thing…

by Jody Mitoma on April 10, 2008 at 11:27 am

Walt MossbergYea, not cool, Walt. If you know what you say publicly is watched closely by millions of people, you might want to be careful as to what you say in a conference… especially those that are recorded. Who’d of known the voice of one journalist and columnist could bring so much anticipation and excitement to so many fans? This guy’s godda feel bad for what he’s done. He’s just godda..

Anyway, if you haven’t seen it already, Walt Mossberg; American journalist and technology columnist for the Wall Street Journal had a recent conference in which he spoke about Apple Inc. products. Within this conference, Walt calmly stated that the 3G iPhone would be available within 60 days, and knowing who he is, we all figured he knew what he was talking about.

Walt later explains that what he said was just based on rumors roaming around the Intranets, unfortunately.

Walt went on to say:

“If I knew when this date was, why would I announce it in the middle of a sentence at the Finnish embassy, rather than report it in the Wall Street Journal?” Walt Mossberg

3G iPhone - 1(Rumor) = Still far too many rumors.
