Handwriting Recognition Job Posting

As seen above, Apple is currently looking for a full time representative in Cupertino, California, whom is experienced in working with Handwriting Recognition; hence-forth, being a Handwriting Recognition Engineer. Nothing special, right?.. Well, it doesn’t end there.

Take a peek at the very last sentence of the job opening. It reads:
The recognition technology you create may extend beyond Mac OS X to other applications and the iPhone.

Interesting, to say the least. However, it is known that Mac OS X’s Handwriting Recognition software is nothing to get hyped up about. In fact, it stinks!

Have a look at this video comparing Handwriting Recognition between software made available on the Mac OS X, and Handwriting Recognition software made available on Windows Vista.

You decide if this is something to get hyped up about or not.
