Bob Vansteel, creator of the Vista Maximus series of Summerboard themes, has a newly-updated version of Vista Maximus planned out for release sometime tomorrow. (apparently)
Vista Maximus v4.0 introduces 10 new icons, and many visual updates.
Check out the new Vista Maximus website created by the same fantastic web developer that brought you www.ipodtouchmaster.com.

I need a new theme, and I might actually try this one. Usually I don’t go crazy for these since it makes you place the icons in a certain position, but I might actually try v4.0 it looks good. Hoping for more wallpapers though. Can’t wait.

Yea, it’s a really great looking summerboard theme. I’m impressed with his work on this release. Can’t wait to see what it has to offer.
Let me know how you like it (and how hard it was to install, etc) whenever you get around to it, if you could!
Take care Dustin.

well, there are tons of wallpapers, and Vista maximus skins practicly everything skinnable on the ipod touch, so its not just a summerboard theme, its an ipod theme…lol

Sorry for the double post. According to vistamaximus.com, v4 has been delayed. Guess we will have to wait a tad bit longer, but that just means more time for the theme to look even better.

Bob, my apologies for miss-interpreting the details on the theme pack.
I wrote a new story on the Vista Maximus v4 stating that the release date has been pushed back, which is where I let the readers know that it is in fact an iPod Theme, and not only a Summerboard Theme. Keep up the good work!

Dustin, thank you very much for informing me of the release delay. I noticed it myself just minutes before I read your comment!
This reminds me – I’m going to slap in a “tips” e-mail address (probably tips@touchpodium.com), where people – such as yourself – will be able to send in tips such as the one you informed me of earlier.
Have yourself a great weekend, man.
