PuzzleManiak 0.5 Now Available

The PuzzleManiak team has been at it. I’ve missed a few version releases, so I’ll just go all-out with this release. PuzzleManiak 0.5 features 25 of the original games, which leaves just two more games to go before they are all supported. Also included in this version (and as of 0.3) are global high scores, which allow you to submit your high scores for each game online to compete for global ranking. The high scores are broken down into 4 categories: Overall (top 30 scores ever), Today (best 30 scores today), Last 7 Days (best scores in the last week), and Last 30 Days (best scores in the last month.) In-game, these entries are limited to 10 per category, but the full high score list will be collected on the main high score page. Furthermore is the introduction of the Daily Challenge, where you can download a new puzzle each day, solve it, and compare it against other players around the world. Unfortunately, this crashed the game when I tried to access it, and when I went back in to try again, it told me I’d already completed the challenge. Damn, I’m good. There are also some bug fixes that clean up some graphical glitches.
PuzzleManiak is available on the ModMyiFone repository: modmyifone.com/installer.xml
Check out more screenshots after the break.
UPDATE: Version 0.6 should be on Installer shortly, and apparently fixes the Daily Challenge crashing bug noted above.

1. Would you please tell me which firmware you’re using?
2. The 2nd time, it told you that you’ve already PLAYED the puzzle, not completed ;-)

I played on firmware 1.1.4 on an iPhone. It might have had something to do with the fact that I had Capture loaded at the time as well, who knows.
And yeah, I know it just said I played, but it was still kinda funny.
