Is the iPhone Coming to Canada This September?…

According to Andy Walker (CyberWalker Blog), the iPhone is said to debut in Canada later this year; in September.
Here’s a quote taken directly off his blog:
I have it on good authority that the iPhone is finally coming to Canada this September through Rogers Wireless.
Had a good chat with a well-placed insider recently and it’ll arrive in concert with drastically dropped data rate plans that are in line with plans in the U.S. This suggests that Apple must have negotiated a deal with Comwave Telecom which hold the trademark in Canada.
You read it here first.

I’m not sure what his source of information is, but I’ll be sure to get back to you all as soon as I find out.
Update:
I e-mailed Andy in regards to this recent news, asking what his source of information was, and he replied within the first 10 minutes, which was great.
He replied:
…
My source is a Rogers employee familiar with the company’s strategy.
But they have asked to remain anonymous.-Andy

One more idea that will in the end be proven wrong. There is no reason for Rogers to lower their rates and thus no iPhone in Canada until some real competition surfaces.
