Two Months In: A Report Card

by Jody Mitoma on March 14, 2008 at 3:03 pm

Touch Podium’s Two Month Report CardAnother month has gone by, and Touch Podium is doing better than ever!

Since our last report, we must of changed the theme / layout of Touch Podium a good two or three more times, and we also had to disembark from the free server, and went with BlueHost paid hosting instead. Since the move to paid hosting, Touch Podium hasn’t had nearly as much downtime as when we were with the free 110mb.com – which of course, is to be expected. 110mb.com hosting had our site off line at least two hours a day, if not more, which was very inappropriate.

I’d like to extend my thanks to all of you for sticking with us through the rough times we’ve had near the end of February. Things haven’t been going as smoothly as we’d of hoped. But I’d like to inform you all that we’re now on paid servers, so Touch Podium will officially be up 99.99% of the time. You’ve nothing to worry about. We aren’t going anywhere. We’ve got some nice things planned out for you this upcoming month, so be sure to stick around!

Age: 60 days
Blog Posts: 214 (including this one) – avg. 3.56 posts/day
Total site hits as of 03/14/08 @ 4:00pm: 111,084 – avg. 1,851 hits/day
RSS subscribers: 216
E-Mail feed subscribers: 24
Affiliates: 16
Returning visitors: ~600/day

As you can see, our stats skyrocketed since the last report on February 14th, 2008. We’re really anxious about that.

We’ve got just under seven times the amount of RSS readers, more than double the amount of stories posted, eight times the amount of e-mail subscribers, almost two and a half times the amount of hits, and an additional four affiliates since our last report! :)

Thanks again to all of our readers and subscribers. If it wasn’t for you, Touch Podium wouldn’t be here today. Please feel more than welcome to participate in any discussion may it be through the Touch Podium Discussion Boards, or through our story comments.

But man, does time ever fly! It feels like just days ago, Eric had written up our one month in report.

I’m anxious to see what our next report has to offer.

Thank you kindly, Dustin. We strive to bring you the news as soon as we hear about it, so here’s to many more months in the business. Stick around, as June will roll in a hell of a lot more games and applications as the App Store is released world-wide. :)
