Train Your Ears With Karajan

by Eric March on March 8, 2008 at 12:40 pm

karajan.pngAny budding musician should appreciate this: A new application has been released for iPod Touch and iPhone that allows you to listen to and quiz yourself on chord, interval and scale recognition. Called Karajan, it features three built-in instruments that will help teach you to recognize musical elements, which will improve your compositions. Karajan features a robust set of options, as well as a statistics screen so you can asses your progress. Think of it a bit like a stripped down lesson in musical theory. Karajan is available on the Holeg repository (http://www.holeg.de/res/) and appears in the Multimedia category.
