Appflow Is Coverflow for Your Apps

by Eric March on February 22, 2008 at 12:04 pm

Let it flowTUAW’s resident developer Erica Sadun has just released her latest creation. Appflow 0.01 is an application launcher that does for your apps what Coverflow does for your music. Once you load the apps you are presented with a familiar Coverflow interface, except it is your app icons, and not album art, that you can swipe through and pick from. A simple double-tap when you find the one you want will launch the selected application.

Granted, this likely isn’t the most practical launcher in the world, but for those who want to add a bit of nifty to their launcher experience, this is your ticket. Being that it is still in its first release stages, it’s possible we may see new features added in time. You can grab it from the Ste Packaging repo in Installer, or manually from Erica’s own site here. Click on the screenshot above for a full-size rendition.
