Thank you James, thank you Andrew.

James; we will take your words into consideration for future postings. We apologies for any inconvenience we may have caused in the past.

Andrew; yes, we had been changing the theme/layout quite a bit aye? hehe! We couldn't find the one we wanted. I, personally, think that this very layout is fantastic - yet, I do agree that the olive color is a little gross - hehe! I will fix that up some time soon enough!

studangerous; I'm not sure why you think we need a spell-checker. I've yet to find a spelling mistake within the blog. Either Eric or myself would fix up any grammar or spelling errors we say within Touch Podium (not other users comments, of course). I do agree, we need more hits and members at the Touch Podium Forums. We've been far too busy trying to get the Blog itself right - we really haven't had the time to work on advertising the blog, or even posting in it often!

Thanks for all your words and ideas, everyone!

Lol iv'e seen so many theme changes on TouchPodium that I can't remember them. I like the layout of the current theme (maybe blog content width could be wider) but I don't rly like the light yellow/green/orange colors. I think I liked some of the whiter/blue colors from the old ones. I also like the new TouchPodium Logo Header but right now it doesn't match the theme imo. I kinda enjoyed seeing a new theme every once in a while haha, but i know that wouldn't make sense.

One thought; your site would be a lot better if it confirmed its stories with multiple sources before posting. I can see that you want to be on top of things, but if it means that well-infomed browsers can spot more than a couple of false stories, then something's not quite right. On the front page, I can see two: the Tiny-Code story (although you have posted a correction, but that's not the point; it is fairly common knowledge that 1.1.3 is ready for the SDK, why would they release 1.1.4 if that was the case?), and the Starbucks QuickOrder story (which is actually just a mock-up created by an independent designer, despite what you and some others say).

Also, an aesthetic critique; IMO having a logo that doesn't lead to the home page is a rather basic design flaw.

great site. would recommend you prrof read/spellcheck your blogs for a polished finish and also you ned to attract more users to your forum. One way would be to add app specific discussion forums under the applications forum e.g.. icomic sub forum / TTR subforum etc.

This would differentiate yourself away from ipodtouchfans and allow for meaningful discussion and limited repetition of questions/thoughts/ideas on a particular subject. I would be happy to move my icomic guide over here if it would be of use.

I still find that layout far too dark, personally.
Thanks for the suggestions though. :)

Hey, thanks for the reply.
You could always do something like this, http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z95/stephenheaps/Layout1.jpg?t=1203386059, it's a layout i made for iPod Touch Fans a little while ago. I.E. Have a rounded rectangle in a lighter colour for where the text goes.

P.S. I still wish that was iptf's layout XD

@Stephen.4 - We do love to try and be stylish here, no doubt. The primary impetus behind changing to our current theme though was that research suggested that dark themes with light text tend to cause more eye strain, so we opted to go with a lighter theme with dark text to make it easier to handle for the readers. Sometimes you have to compomise...

@Andy - Thanks -- Jody picked this one, so we've both been working with it to get everything working similar to the previous theme, but with the new look. It's a little more challenging than we thought. :) The RSS feed -- I think that's handled by Feedburner, and I'm not sure what options we have on that end. I'll have to ask Jody.

@toomuchcaffeine - Thank you! We're glad you like it.

@All - Really, any suggestions will be considered, critiques taken under advisement. We're doing this for you guys so we'd like to make sure y'all are happy here. :)

As oppose to what Stephen.4 mentioned, I actually love this new style. It looks very clean, crisp and professional. One thing I would like is longer RSS feed description... because the more it has, the more information readers on my forum can see before having to click... but that's just me being selfish :P Keep up the GREAT work!
