No Comment (But There Is Now)

So there we were chatting away, Jody and I, busy being pretty proud of ourselves over the way the blog is coming along and thinking everything was going just the way we wanted it to.
Until Jody tried to leave a comment. What should happen? A fatal error in the Ajax script. Turns out that no comments were being posted. At all. And I’m sure if any of you attempted to leave any, you probably came to the same conclusion.
So we spent an hour or so ferreting out the source of the problem, and in a textbook case of Murphy’s Laws of Programming, the error just happened to be something so simple, yet so devious in its simplicity, that we wouldn’t have thought of it in a million years if we hadn’t been tipped off by the blog throwing errors all over the place.
I am happy to report, then, that everything is all fixed up and working once again, so those of you who wish to leave comments can now do so as you please. Sorry about that, folks! That’s what happens when one of your hands is too busy patting you on the back.
