We Are Experiencing Technical Difficulties. Please Stand By.

As you may or may not have noticed, things are changing around here, and not everything is as it seems. There is no need to panic, however. Rod Serling is not going to round a corner at any minute and start saying, “For your consideration…” He’s dead, man. You’ve gotta move on.

We’re just in a state of flux, as it were. The blog has been moved from the we-do-it-for-you wordpress.com to the do-it-yourself-but-you-bring-the-beer wordpress.org, and we brought some dedicated hosting along with it. This will give us much more freedom to explore and edit and modify as we see fit virtually without limits. However, the transition is not painless. Last night the DNS was updated to the new host, but it took several hours for it to propagate. As a result, touchpodium.com was effectively an unknown quantity, though the old URL at ipodtoucher.wordpress.com still worked (and still does, but it will soon redirect you here). Furthermore, we are still waiting for the ability to edit the .htaccess file at our dedicated host, which is apparently is not activated immediately after paying for it. Until it is activated, you may find that some of the links to other parts of our blog don’t work.

We apologize for the inconvenience (here, have a coupon for a free small fry on your next visit) but things should be sorted out very shortly, and I am sure Jody will be along soon to make an official announcement, so please just hang in there with us a bit longer; it’s only a little turbulence, and we may have sucked a gull into the #2 engine, but we’ll be landing soon, and I think the in-flight movie has a brief shot of Scarlett Johansson’s sideboob.
